When I saw the collection of these colours together at Michael’s, I immediately knew they needed to be a hat pattern. Driving home from the store I was imagining a snowflake theme. Be it colorwork or texture, it had to happen.
So, as I flipped through my various stitch books the design emerged. I decided it would be like a snowfall with more at the bottom and less as it worked up.
This design doesn’t require a gradient, it would look lovelt in a single colour too. But if you have a package of Caron Pantone yarn, this is something you can do! The name is in reference to Gilmore Girls when Lorelai can smell that snow is coming.
